Privacy notice

Launch-stage notice. Last updated 4 November 2026.

This notice explains what we collect when you use The PropTech News and how we use it. We aim to collect as little as possible. Full details of the publishing entity responsible for your data will be added to this notice before regular newsletter sending begins; until then, you can exercise any of your rights through the contact form.

What we collect

  • Launch list (The PropTech Brief): your email address, your consent and the wording you agreed to, and — only if you choose — your role and interests.
  • Partnership enquiries, event interest and contact messages: the details you type into the form.
  • Abuse prevention: a one-way, salted fingerprint of your connection, used only to limit repeated form submissions and deleted within about a day. We do not store your IP address.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell or share your details with partners. Partners never receive subscriber lists.
  • We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
  • “Save on this device” bookmarks are stored only in your own browser and are never sent to us. Staff who sign in to the newsroom use a login session stored in their browser.

Why we use it

Launch-list details are used, with your consent, to contact you when The PropTech Brief begins sending. Enquiry and contact details are used to reply to you. Event interest is used to tell you about the programme you chose.

Who can see it

Submissions are stored in our secured database and are visible only to authorised administrators. Our hosting and database providers process data on our behalf to run the service.

How long we keep it

We keep launch-list details until you ask to be removed or the list is closed, and enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with them, normally no longer than two years.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, at any time via the contact form (choose “Privacy or data request”). You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority.
